The Fisherman’s Life

While travelling in Paros, Greece, I came across a timeless scene. Each day, while walking the harbour, I watched two older fishermen preparing their fishing nets. I thought about how many days throughout time they had sat enjoying each other’s company, and completing their days work. I hoped to capture them at work before I set out to sea myself, and as I walked the harbour one last time, I realized they had taken a rest day.
