Antiques of The Great Montenegro Tour

This fall I set off on The Great Montenegro Tour. A tour encompassing, river boats, ancient monasteries high in the clouds, and 2000 metre high mountain views. It was an experience rich in culture and history. Stopping at a traditional smokehouse in an isolated mountain town, I noticed this colourful antique resting beside the staircase of a small home. I contemplated its many years of history and use, the paths it once tread, and the stories of the people who once rode it. Now a worn antique, it's story, and meaning carries on in this photograph. Here, it remains timeless and can never truly be worn out.
